We are a peer group for Depression and Bipolar along with our support Allies.
As spring blooms, many of us feel a natural lift in mood and energy — a welcome shift after the slower pace of winter. Those of us living with bipolar disorder, this seasonal boost can sometimes trigger mania or hypomania. It’s important to stay grounded and self-aware.
Use the DIF Check-In to help you tell the difference between a good day and a possible episode.
Enjoy the season — but stay alert. Mania can feel good at first, but it often comes with consequences. Catching early signs gives you the power to manage your health before things escalate. You’re not alone — and you’ve got tools.
Ask yourself:
• Duration: How long has this elevated mood or energy lasted?
• Intensity: How strong are these feelings? Are they interfering with sleep, focus, or relationships?
• Frequency: Are these shifts happening more often or with less recovery time?
Let us know when you’ve found a great resource that helps you and we will post it here to share with the group
